Vasant Panchami Programme was celebrated online by the children of the primary section on 16th Feb.2021 to welcome spring with songs and dances.

Virtual Annual Sports Meet 2021
Sports Day is one of the greatest events in our school calendar and this year we could not let a global pandemic stop us celebrating together. The Virtual Annual Sports Meet 2021 of the primary section of THE BSS SCHOOL held on 5th March 2021, helped to encourage children to remain active. Ms. Prema Rajaram, an athlete and marathon runner of repute graced the occasion as the Chief Guest to motivate the children. The COVID 19 pandemic could not deter the zeal of young children from Classes Nursery to V as they participated with great enthusiasm and showed their true sportsman spirit by taking part in various activities. Overall, the celebrations saw whole hearted and almost full participation from the students of Nursery to V and the generous cooperation of the parents in making the Virtual Annual Sports Meet 2021 a grand success.

The children from Classes U.K.G to IV represented the school in various events in ‘Genius Junior’, the virtual fest organised by Ruby Park Public School on 27th April 2021.
Koushani Bhattacharjee from Class IV-A won the First prize in Pantomime(Mime).
B.D.M International School Inter School Dance Competition ‘Meraki’
Children from Classes I and II represented the school in ‘Meraki’, an inter school dance competition organised by B.D.M International School on 25th April 2021.
Srinika Mukherjee from Class I-B and Samriddhi Mondal from Class II-B won the Third Prize in ‘Aikyam’ category of the competition.

On 9th Nov.2019 a cooking session was held with Pratyush Saraf(IIHM YCIJ National Finalist,Eastern Zone No.1 Medallist) where six children who had qualified for the second round of the IIHM Junior Chef participated.

Children’s’ Day was celebrated on 13th Nov.2019 whereby teachers put up a colourful programme for the children in the school’s auditorium. On 14th Nov. 2019 special arrangements were made on the school field as a surprise for the children to enjoy the day.

A story telling session with Classes I and II was held on 10th Dec.2019 where eminent international story teller Priyanka Chatterjee interacted with the children tickling the creative and curious minds of the children.
Educational Tour to BITM
Educational tours to BITM involving Classes I to V were organized in the month of Dec.2019 whereby students visited the BITM to explore various arenas of science.
Calligraphy Workshop
Children from Class V participated in a Calligraphy Workshop by Calligraphy Trainer Nausheen Akram organized in the school on 12th Dec. and 13th Dec.2019.
Christmas Assembly
On 18th Dec.2019 a Christmas Assembly was organized in the school where children put up a colourful cultural programme and witnessed the surprise visit of Santa Claus to add on to the Christmas spirit.

On 7th October 2021, a virtual Special Puja Assembly was put up by the children of the primary section wherein they welcomed the upcoming festivals of Durga Puja and Diwali with their colourful cultural performances.

On 9th Nov.2019 a cooking session was held with Pratyush Saraf(IIHM YCIJ National Finalist,Eastern Zone No.1 Medallist) where six children who had qualified for the second round of the IIHM Junior Chef participated.

Children’s’ Day was celebrated on 13th Nov.2019 whereby teachers put up a colourful programme for the children in the school’s auditorium. On 14th Nov. 2019 special arrangements were made on the school field as a surprise for the children to enjoy the day.

A story telling session with Classes I and II was held on 10th Dec.2019 where eminent international story teller Priyanka Chatterjee interacted with the children tickling the creative and curious minds of the children.
Educational Tour to BITM
Educational tours to BITM involving Classes I to V were organized in the month of Dec.2019 whereby students visited the BITM to explore various arenas of science.
Calligraphy Workshop
Children from Class V participated in a Calligraphy Workshop by Calligraphy Trainer Nausheen Akram organized in the school on 12th Dec. and 13th Dec.2019.
Christmas Assembly
On 18th Dec.2019 a Christmas Assembly was organized in the school where children put up a colourful cultural programme and witnessed the surprise visit of Santa Claus to add on to the Christmas spirit.
